For money you can have everything it is said. No, that is not true. You can buy food, but not appetite; medicine, but not health; soft beds, but not sleep; knowledge but not intelligence; glitter, but not comfort; fun, but not pleasure; acquaintances, but not friendship; servants, but not faithfulness; grey hair, but not honor; quiet days, but not peace. The shell of all things you can get for money. But not the kernel. That cannot be had for money.
Having trouble drinking enough water? Toss a slice of citrus fruit in your glass – try lemon, lime, orange, or grapefruit. It adds just a little zing.
Aim for drinking half your weight in ounces of water each day (up to a maximum of 100 oz/day). So if you weigh 150 lbs, that’s 75 oz of water. If you weigh 200 lbs, that’s 100 oz of water. If you weigh 120 lbs, that’s 60 oz of water.

Open your coat closet and take a look at what’s there. For all your coats, jackets, hats, scarves, mittens, gloves, boots, galoshes, and umbrellas – throw out anything that doesn’t do what it’s supposed to. Mittens and gloves with holes, broken umbrellas, boots and galoshes that leak are all garbage.
Are there coats or jackets that need to go to the tailor for buttons, zippers, hems, or seams? Bag it up and put it by the door, ready to go.
Are there things that need to be cleaned? Bag them up, too. Yep – by the door.
What can be given away because you no longer need it? What do you need to replace?
Put the good stuff back in the closet, paying attention to who uses it (down low for the kids), how often (high shelves for the least used), and what else is in the closet.
It’s important to make a good presentation when you’re trying to get healthy. Clean out and organize your purse, wallet, briefcase, and/or tote bag.
Throw out the shredded tissues, stale gum, receipts (shred those), coupons, flyers, and any old food. Collect your loose change. “Face” your bills and put them in order. Make sure your pens still write, and that you have checks in your checkbook (if you still use those). Put your headphones in a change purse or small bag.
Organize your files. Replenish your business cards. Make sure you have paper. Check your cables – USB, power cord, charger. Keep them in separate bags, or use twist ties to keep them organized.
Put the gym socks in the laundry, replenish your toiletries and makeup, and get any beverage or food containers to the kitchen.
This bags are your portable living space. If they look organized, you’ll look organized.
