Before you get out of bed, s-t-r-e-t-c-h your body.
What better time to stretch than when you’re cozy and warm, still under the covers?
Stretch your body as though someone is pulling it from both ends. Spread your fingers and your toes and wiggle them around. Get on your stomach and stretch out as though you are being pulled in five directions (each arm, each leg, and your head). Then curl up in a ball like a cat, and then stretch again.
The whole thing will take less than 2 minutes, and you’ll feel limber as you start your day. Don’t forget to take in lots of oxygen with a big yawn.
