3 things to do today to prepare for Booty Camp
- Drink half your weight in ounces of water each day (maximum of 100 oz/day), starting TODAY. If you weigh 200 lbs or more, drink 100 oz of water. If you weigh 150 lbs, drink 75 oz of water.
- Clean out all the chips, cookies, and candy from the house. Do not buy more. If you want something sweet, eat a piece of fruit. If you want something salty, have a few nuts (preferably raw).
- Break a sweat and sweat for 10. Put some effort and energy into your favorite physical activity (dancing, running, bicycling, basketball, a cardio DVD, jumping rope, kickboxing, etc.) so that you start to sweat; keep moving for 10 minutes. Whew!

Hi! I’m brand new to Marilu.com, but I’ve been reading her new book Wear your life well (which I love) and I just ordered THM and Healthy Life Kitchen (which I’m hoping is delivered today). So far, I have given up the caffine, I joined a gym and am working out with a personal trainer 5 days a week (30-40 minutes), I have been off dairy and red meat for 1 week and I can see how much better I feel waking up in the morning already! I’m really looking forward to booty camp and I want to REALLY use this site… (I can tend to be an observer rather than a participator). Thanks for the tips to help prep for the class. I would like to know if there is a “shopping list” available for the meal suggestions. I would like to have my kitchen prepared as much as possible as one of my struggles is taking care of me first (instead of the kids, husband, house, yard, dog, guinea pig, and your aunt tilly!) Just would like to know what I can expect. Thanks so much! Margaret
