Don’t lose your mind

Keep a small notebook and pencil with you at all times. Write down thoughts, ideas, questions, shopping lists, memos, and reminders that pop into your head throughout the day. This is a useful and simple organizational tool for work, inspiration, and everyday life.

Of course, you can adapt this idea to the digital age. If you’re already carrying a PDA or a phone that has memo/task capabilities, then by all means learn to use them – and use them all the time. If you need to synchronize your PDA/phone with your computer, make that part of your daily routine.
