Summer’s Last Hurrah
This weekend is Labor Day, Summer’s Last Hurrah ! We can’t resist offering our two cents to help you make this a happy, healthy, and SAFE holiday.
- Make plans to MOVE. With a long weekend you can find time for a walk, a hike, kayaking, tennis, bocce. Anything that gets you out of your seat and moving. The movies will be there all winter.
- Stay hydrated. Yes it’s a good day to enjoy a drink with friends but it’s also a good chance to use the two to one rule. For every drink containing alcohol have two glasses of water. Your skin will thank you, your waistline will thank you.
- Lighten Up ! Lighten up your menu, (you don’t need as much food as you think) and lighten up on yourself. Don’t wait until your home looks perfect to have people over. Impromptu is fun and a relaxed host just might be the most important ingredient for a good time.
