The Physician’s Committee for Responsible Medicine (one of Marilu’s most noteworthy charities, headed by her good friend and colleague Dr. Neal Barnard) was recently recognized for it’s efforts in promoting a healthy, plant based, vegan diet.  Thanks to “Vegans are Cool” for naming PCRM as the 2012 winner of Outstanding Vegan Non-Profit.
