Practice Proper Food Combining!
Food combining is eating meals consisting only of foods that digest well together. It's easier than it sounds because foods combine by category. When you combine foods properly, you'll have more efficient and better digestion, leaving more energy for you! You'll also get greater benefit from the nutrition and vitamins in your food, because they are more easily absorbed by your body.
The Total Health Makeover® recommends eating fruit for breakfast; protein and vegetables for lunch; and whole grains and vegetables for dinner. If you have special dietary needs, those can be addressed as part of food combining. Most meals consist of whole foods, simplifying preparation and prep time!
