Hot for the Holidays, led by Coach Jan, is one of our favorite classes at Marilu.com   Until now it was available only to members but this year Marilu is gifting that class to all visitors to the site.  Please join us each day this week as we work together to simplify what can often be a hectic time of year. 

Jan has wonderful advice for us and most people who’ve taken the class have come to think of her as a personal assistant during a busy time.

Five day class begins HERE on Monday !

Marilu recently ran a class in the members area to help us be better prepared for the busy weeks we all face at the end of the year…and the temptations we’ll face as well. 

Beginning on Monday you can participate in a free five day class with our Hot for the Holidays coach, Jan.  Each year this is a popular favorite at Marilu.com but this is the first time it’s being run on the public site so be sure to tell your friends.  The more the merrier.  No strings attached. 

Jan is an incredible coach and having her lead this class was like having a personal assistant to help us through the holidays.  Who hasn’t wished for that from time to time ?

Celiac Disease on the Rise

Today is the last day of Jill’s class; Gluten Free 101.  For those of you who are visiting the site for the first time and have missed the class here’s an article that will give you some information on why living gluten free might be something for you to consider.

GLUTEN FREE 101

On Monday, October 17th we are launching our first class dedicated to a gluten free diet.  The Total Health Makeover is about being your BEST.  For some people a sensitivity, or an intolerance, to gluten make it necessary to eliminate it.  We want to help everyone learn how to make these adjustments within the guidelines of a healthy lifestyle, like THM.

Join coach Jill this Monday as she leads us through the basics.  Learn how to adjust your kitchen for your own benefit or for family and friends who have an issue with gluten.  A number of our members have been successful in making these changes and the dialogue promises to be informative. 

 If  this is a topic that you’re struggling with this is the perfect time to give membership a try.

Today is the first day of Booty School.  Get in shape with Marilu and Coach Evi in our first ever European class !   The information, recipes, and healthy tips aren’t coming from research but from experience .   Our neighobrs across the pond have a lot to share with us and Evi is THERE, living this lifestyle and bringing the European sensibilities into our lives in a way that books and magazines never could.

What are you running from?

One of the things we’ve noticed in our own life is that we haven’t been facing life head-on. We’ve been avoiding some things. Like the ten pounds that have crept on over the last year. Or the fact that we’d rather read a good book than go to the gym. Or that dessert is showing up more frequently after dinner.

That these things are happening simultaneously is not coincidental.

It’s time to stop running from the truth about our health habits. It’s time to make some changes, starting with our perspective – and that will direct the other changes that need to happen.

One of the things we’re looking forward to in making these changes is the September class here at Marilu.com. Twenty-one days of accountability will help us focus, but it won’t be all drudgery – Coach Evi has some fun things planned for our (virtual) European semester! If you’re looking for some assistance with your own new perspective, become a member and take the class. There will be plenty of recipes and lots of encouragement as we all help each other stay focused, and stop running.

Now, get moving. Because running (or walking) for exercise is something we aren’t going to stop.
