Whirlwind trip to NY this week, meetings and an event for Prince Edward and his wife at The Pierre Hotel. My life is moving fast this summer. Last week I spent an entire day at UC Irvine being memory tested. I can’t believe I’m right at the epicenter of all the latest and greatest scientific and medical memory information. I’m just so glad this is all happening while I’m alive and can contribute to the data. Very exciting!
I have got to get into a new routine now that my schedule is so different. I’m definitely a morning workout person, and if I don’t do it before I start the rest of my day, it’s such a struggle to find the time later on. Tomorrow I have to make sure to speed walk at least two miles in the morning.

Started the day at 5:15 am with the most bizarre dream about my niece’s ex-husband, only to wake up to an email from her about him! I love when things like that happen! As Dr. Sharon always said, “The unconscious mind knows EVERYTHING!”
I was on Good Day L.A. a couple weeks ago to talk about my hosting the Tony viewing party for the Actor’s Fund, but they wanted to talk about memory, which seems to be the case most of the time lately. I’m happy people are so enthusiastic, and since the airing of the 60 Minutes segment there’s been a huge amount of interest in my upcoming book.
Life is so busy but I absolutely have to find the time to hunker down and write!!!
Hi everyone! There was such an incredible response to the 60 Minutes piece. Thank you all for watching and for your questions and comments. Researchers believe that studying those of us with Superior Autobiographical Memory can very likely lead to discoveries that can help the population at large, both in developing our mental abilities and possibly treating patients with impaired memory function. It’s all very exciting.
This summer I led a class in the member’s area on developing memory skills. It was a lot of fun and the response was so positive that we’re going to run it here this week.

This is what I love about acting. Nothing is ever wasted, and you use everything constantly, as long as you keep yourself available to what is happening.
It’s the same thing in everyday life. If you leave yourself open to what is really happening, you’re not going to get hung up on what it ‘should be,’ but you will embrace what ‘is,’ and more on from there.

Everyone is at a different stage of their health journey. And it’s all about progress, not perfection! The great thing about health is that it’s very forgiving. You don’t have to worry about whether or not you’re “cheating.”
There’s no such thing as making a mistake, because each day you’re experimenting. And you’re collecting data. But you’re not just in a laboratory… you’re in the laboratory of your life!
After living like this for 30 years, I can honestly say there is nothing better for you than a plant-based diet. When you start changing your life, slowly but surely, to eat this way, you will notice remarkable changes. It may take a little time to figure out what works for you, but sooner rather than later, you will realize… nothing tastes as good as healthy feels!
